So whether you are a fan of Pink Floyd or not, come celebrate this fleeting but epic era in the history of an Austin icon. Benefiting Anthropos Arts Anthropos is an Austin-based nonprofit organization, working primarily in the East Austin community to bring top professional musicians into Title I, low-income middle and high schools to offer free music lessons, workshops, master classes, and performance opportunities to economically disadvantaged youth giving them an outlet and pathways to scholarships and a brighter future. The Concept: What classic rock music fan hasn’t looked up at the smokestacks at Seaholm Power Plant and envisioned a pink pig flying above? We at The Electric Company could not let the small window of opportunity left for shows at Seaholm go by without bringing that vision to life. This epic Pink Floyd tribute for the ages will recreate the live Pink Floyd experience, completed by an amazing light show from ILIOS Lighting, top-flight sound, and special effects. The Band Recreating a Pink Floyd sonic experience is ambitious to say the least. Some of Austin’s best studio and touring musicians have been recruited to the project to recreate a 2-set show of Pink Floyd consisting of material from the full career of Pink Floyd complete with the favorites as well as deep tracks rarely or never played live. The music director, Chris Maresh, has a multitude of his own honors, albums, and tours under his belt and has pieced together a collective of musicians who are some of the most technically capable musicians at their instruments you can find, all with their own share of accolades.

It has been one mean Spring 2011. Between moving warehouses, building a new office, and a heavy event workload, we can admit, the website has experienced some neglect. However, as of this week, the website has undergone massive updates in many areas. Namely, our product catalog has been updated to represent our most recent gear in both rentals and sales. ACL Theatre Unveils Tonight with ILIOS

Performers Carolyn Wonderland, Ray Benson, and Steve Miller Band topped off the evening with exceptional style. To inaugurate this new relationship, ILIOS is Supplying Sport Illustrated and it's traveling Heisman Trophy Campaign Event with some of the latest technology available in the industry today. A giant LED video wall (Martin EC-20) will greet guests in a Tremendous Event Tent at various NCAA Stadiums across the country with a dynamic football highlights and live College Football Action. Once inside, guests can do various activities such as interact with giant High-Definition Touchscreen Systems also supplied by ILIOS. The experience becomes complete with Autographs from local sports heros, getting pictures with the actual Heisman Trophy, and getting a first hand look at the latest vehicles from Nissan.

Wilco Kicks off the New Cedar Park Center

The new Cedar Park Center in North Austin introduced itself to the world with it's first rock show by bringing Chicago's own Wilco. It was a great show and a fantastic way to christen the new arena and events center. ILIOS and team took great pleasure in providing the the lighting rig and working side by side with Wilco's great production team. Wilco's lighting set consisted of 120 Source 4 Pars, 5 ACL Bars, 24 Source 4's, 6 MAC 2000 Profiles, 6 MAC 2000 Wash; & 6 MACIII's. Needles to say, it was a great looking rig. Special thanks to our friends over a C3 for, as always, providing a flawless production environment, and also credit out to Big House sound for the Audio Support. ACL Fest 2009 in the Books!

What a great ACL Weekend! Despite the unusually muddy & wet conditions, it did not dampen the spirits and great music @ Zilker Park and all over the great city of Austin. ILIOS Lighting had an incredibly great time working both on and off the festival grounds. Friday was a beautiful day and was complemented with working hands-on with the Sound Tribe Sector 9 team at the Stubb's and then pushed beyond belief with Broken Social Scene at the Seaholm Power Plant. We owe many great thanks to the team at Rare Magazine and all it's sponsors for taking on the challenge of having such a great event at such a historic Venue. Let us not forget Devotchka helping us finish off a great Friday at La Zona Rosa. and then putting on an unbelievable set at the Wildflower stage at the festival grounds the next night. It was a tremendous pleasure getting to work with Devotchka 2 days in a row. But how can we forget Theivery Corporation? What a great team to work with! Theivery helped cap out ILIOS Saturday with the incredible production knowledge and creativity.... and what a SHOW! Sunday, was muddy but SOLID. Rebirth Brass Band brought us to life as we worked with them at the Wildflower stage. This energy held the ILIOS team strong as we steered a multi-media production for a Ghostland Observatory at Stubbs. What a weekend. We deliver great thanks to all we worked with over the weekend. But most of all, Many thanks to the team at C3 who every year organizes what turns into such a great, fun weekend for all in Austin... whether a local, a vistor, or a vendor. 2009 ACL weekend.... in the books!

SXSW of 2009 was a great successes for ILIOS. We had a great pleasure working with many incredible acts and personalities. In working with the SXSW conference, ILIOS built lighting for some 20+ clubs as well as played design host to the SXSW Artist Lounge. For Thursday Night,ILIOS was the production team that built the ultimate Late Night Party in Austin for the C3/Playboy party, featuring Bassnectar & Jane's Addiction. On Friday night, ILIOS had the incredible pleasure of teaming up with the Metallica Tour to put on intimate but energetic showcase at Stubb's Amphitheater. Saturday was highlighted by the Perez Hilton Party topping off with a blazing Hip Hop performance from Kanye West. 2009 SXSW has come and gone. Artists taking the stages include Willie Nelson, Ghostland Observatory, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Los Lonely Boys, Alejandro Escovedo, & Many more. We stand proudly beside producers,Game Plan Marketing, Big House Sound on Audio, and SOS Management steering the ship.

Of these top-tier vendors, Thomas has supplied ILIOS with new ACL Bars, Spot Banks, and more. With Avolites, ILIOS has added the Pearl Expert console to our creative mix. TMB will start providing a whole array of electrical solutions..... and finally, we also introduce intelligent lasers. The new Martin Professional RGB Laser 1.6 will be gracing our rental & creative departments with its' presence. ILIOS PRODUCED EVENT WINS AT NACE

On New Years Eve 2008, ILIOS was the lighting design and concept company for the the NACE organization's "BEST PRODUCED EVENT OF 2007". The Event Was "Moulin Rouge" and was an incredibly entertaining and meticulously designed Debutante Gala in San Antonio on the grounds of the San Antonio Museum of Art. The event coordinator was Billinda Wilkinson of Wilkinson Rhodes. An staggering 5-part tent complex, created by Marquee Tents of Austin, each received unique design in decor to create an ever-changing environment replicating Paris of the early 1900's. We are proud to have been part of such a successful, BEAUTIFUL, & WILDLY ENTERTAINING EVENT. Pictures of the Gala are on the Media>Private Events sections of the ILIOS site. High End Systems Introduces the DL.3

The DL.3 Digital Light integrates a media server loaded with a wealth of digital content with a high output 3-chip light engine, a highly sensitive HAD sensor camera and an infrared illumination system. DL.3 mounts like any other intelligent moving luminaire and controls just as easily with plug-and-play operation using standard DMX cabling and protocols. Production set-up time is reduced as there is no need for RGB cabling, and racks of servers are no longer necessary at front-of-house or backstage area.

Xtreme boasts one of the most revolutionary, and easy to use structural systems on the production market today. One of thier productst is called XLOC Trussing. With XLOC we now have the ability to build rigging structures in literally a fraction of the time previously needed to bolt legs of structure together. ILIOS has brought in over 1000' of this new trussing system and is very excited to be working with Xtreme Structures. NEW INSTALLATION @ STUBB'S AMPHITHEATER SUPPLIED & OPERATED BY ILIOS

Charles Attall Presents, management for Stubb's Amphitheater teamed up with ILIOS Lighting to unveil a new production lighting installation for the new 2007 season. The new upstage rig consists 10 Martin MAC 700's (6 Washes, 4 Profiles, 4 Atomic 3k Strobes, and 4 Banks of ACLS. The Downstage contains 16 Color Kinetics ColorBlast12 Powercores, and 8 narrow beam specials. A perfect canvas of Haze is provided by a CITC StarHazerII. A custom Power distribution box was built by Applied Electronics, and custom cable runs we done by LEX. The rig is currently operated by ILIOS's MAXXYX console with Dual MAXXYZ WIngs. ILIOS provided 12 Martin MAC 700 Profiles; 8 Martin MAC 700 Washes, 12 Color Kinetics ColorBlast12s, 8 Atomic Strobes, CITC Starhazer II, and a Grand MA Console. ILIOS SUPPLIES TREY ANASTSIO BAND FOR HALLOWEEN SHOW

ILIOS Lighting had the pleasure of teaming up with Lighting Designer extraordinar Chris Kuroda on the final show of The Trey Anastasio Band Fall tour. The show was October 31st, 2006 at Stubb's Amphitheater. The on-stage rig consisted of 12 Martin MAC 700 Profiles, 16 HES Color Commands and an Array of ACL's. The design went further in depth to add some Halloween decor with 2 x Martin Atomic Strobes, 8 x Color Kinetics ColorBlast 12, and a Jem Glaciator at the entry for greeter the attendees at the gate. The ampitheater yard & oak trees were dressed with color-changes and animations from 8 Martin MAC250 Washes and 8 Martin MAC550 Profiles. Martin Professional recently unveiled a new product to widen the range of an already largley diverse product line. ILIOS is happy to annoucnce the RGB LASER 1.6 to our Sales page. With simple plug-and-play operations, hundreds of pre-installed effects and a cooling system that eliminates the need for expensive and bulky water cooling, the RGBL 1.6 is all about performance made easy. Slightly larger than an average DVD player, yet able to take the knocks and blows of touring without misaligning, the RGBL 1.6 is designed for the road. Unconditional colours The RGBL 1.6 is capable of extremely deep saturated colors - especially an intense blue (442 nm), which allows the creation of true and pure white like no other laser in its class. Graphic Master Smooth advanced graphics are achievable through tremendously fast and accurate galvos which can pass through an amazing 40 000 positions a second. These graphical possibilities are enhanced through the narrowness of the actual beam (<3.5 mm), which gives more flexibility when choosing imagery or in long distant projections. Rechargeable Creativity Downloading and upgrading images and graphics to the internal flash card is simple to achieve through the USB 2.0 PC interface. The USB connection can also be used for real-time programming, editing and viewing. Right Here, Right Now Real-time effect programming, editing and viewing is possible through the included software, which is extremely easy to use and beneficial for speedy setups and shows on the fly.

Stubbs Ampitheater in Austin recently hosted the Arctic Monkeys concert on June 7th, 2006. ILIOS Lighting supplied the tour with a moving light package to compilment the exisitng Stubbs Install. The gear list included: Martin MAC550, Atomic Strobe and Jem Magnum Hazer.

The companion washlight to the highly successful MAC 700 Profile is ready to hit the market. The MAC 700 Wash is the latest high performance luminaire in Martin’s line of award-winning MAC moving heads. It carries on the MAC tradition for excellence by offering much of the same technology, modularity and design as the MAC 700 Profile. The 700 Wash is a powerful 700-watt Fresnel luminaire with a remarkable light output. It features a full CMY color mixing system and variable CTC plus 8 position color wheel. Other useful features include a wide range variable zoom, continuous and indexable beam shaper, and extremely smooth and fast dimmer shutter system. It also boasts the same service friendly modular design and silent cooling as the MAC 700 Profile.
